The Continental Mountain King ProTection Tire features a tread pattern designed for optimal traction in all conditions and terrains. Offering increased durability, great puncture resistance, and hassle-free tubeless compatibility — all with a minimal weight sacrifice.

Improving on what was already excellent grip in soft and loose conditions, the new Mountain King features increased traction through improved shoulder lugs and easy mud shedding.

As in all their top MTB tires, Continental uses the pro-proven Black Chili rubber, an incredibly soft yet durable compound that increases grip and wear resistance while speeding up your roll. The beefed up ProTection casing features 4 fabric plies and a total of 240 TPI. Finally, RTR tubeless technology means compatibility with UST and tubeless ready rims when paired with Continental Revo Sealant.
